Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: July 17, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the HomeFix website and any maintenance, repair, inspection, installation, or related service requested through the website, phone, email, WhatsApp, or other HomeFix communication channels.

By accessing the website, submitting a service request, booking a technician visit, or approving a quotation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These terms are intended to operate under the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, including applicable consumer-protection, electronic-transactions, and personal-data-protection requirements. Jordan’s Consumer Protection Law No. 7 of 2017 applies to suppliers of goods and services, while electronic transactions are recognised under Jordan’s Electronic Transactions Law.

1. About HomeFix

HomeFix provides maintenance coordination and related services for homes, offices, commercial spaces, residential buildings, and other properties.

Our services may include:

  • Electrical maintenance

  • Plumbing services

  • Air-conditioning inspection and maintenance

  • Appliance diagnosis and repair

  • General maintenance

  • Installation services

  • Other services shown on the website or confirmed in writing

Service availability may vary depending on location, technician availability, required expertise, materials, and the nature of the requested work.

2. Service Requests

Submitting a form, message, or booking request does not automatically confirm an appointment.

A booking becomes confirmed only after HomeFix communicates the appointment date, time window, service category, and applicable visit fee.

You must provide complete and accurate information about:

  • The required service

  • The property location

  • The condition or fault

  • Property access

  • Relevant safety concerns

  • Any previous repair attempts

  • The availability of the appliance, fixture, or item requiring service

HomeFix may request photos, videos, model numbers, measurements, or additional information before confirming the visit.

3. Visit and Inspection Fees

The price displayed on the website is a visit and initial inspection fee, unless expressly stated otherwise.

The visit fee covers:

  • Technician travel to the confirmed service location

  • Initial inspection or assessment

  • Basic diagnosis of the reported issue

  • Explanation of the recommended next steps

The visit fee does not normally include:

  • Repair labour

  • Installation labour

  • Replacement parts

  • Materials or consumables

  • Additional technicians

  • Specialist equipment

  • Additional visits

  • Work outside the original service request

The visit fee remains payable once the technician arrives at the confirmed location, even if:

  • No fault is found

  • The customer decides not to proceed

  • The item cannot be repaired

  • Required parts are unavailable

  • Property access is not provided

  • The reported issue differs from the actual problem

4. Estimates and Quotations

Any price shown online is indicative unless specifically confirmed as a fixed quotation.

After inspection, HomeFix or the assigned technician may provide an estimate covering:

  • Labour

  • Materials

  • Replacement parts

  • Additional visits

  • Estimated completion time

  • Applicable taxes or other charges

No additional repair or installation work will begin without the customer’s approval.

Quotations may be provided verbally, electronically, or in writing. Electronic communications and approvals may form part of the service record, subject to applicable Jordanian electronic-transactions rules.

A quotation may be revised if:

  • The original information was incomplete or inaccurate

  • Hidden damage is discovered

  • Additional faults are identified

  • The requested scope changes

  • The required parts or materials change

  • Supplier prices or availability change

5. Customer Approval

Approval may be given through:

  • The website

  • Email

  • WhatsApp

  • SMS

  • Recorded telephone confirmation

  • Written approval

  • Direct approval to the assigned technician

By approving the work, you accept the confirmed scope, price, and service conditions.

Additional work outside the approved scope requires separate approval.

6. Payments

Payment may be required:

  • Before the visit

  • Upon technician arrival

  • After inspection

  • Before ordering parts

  • Upon completion

  • According to another agreed payment schedule

Available payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking or invoicing.

All prices are stated in Jordanian dinars unless otherwise indicated.

HomeFix may require advance payment for:

  • Special-order parts

  • High-value materials

  • Custom installations

  • Large projects

  • Multi-day assignments

  • Commercial maintenance work

Advance payments for ordered parts or committed materials may be non-refundable once the order has been placed, unless the item is defective, unavailable, or otherwise subject to applicable consumer rights.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule an appointment by contacting HomeFix before the technician is dispatched.

HomeFix may charge the visit fee where:

  • The technician has already been dispatched

  • Cancellation occurs shortly before the appointment

  • The technician arrives but cannot access the property

  • The customer is unavailable

  • The provided address is incorrect

  • The service cannot proceed because required information was withheld

HomeFix may reschedule a visit due to:

  • Technician unavailability

  • Traffic or access conditions

  • Emergencies

  • Weather

  • Safety concerns

  • Required specialist availability

  • Circumstances beyond reasonable control

Where possible, we will notify you and arrange an alternative time.

8. Property Access

You must ensure that:

  • An adult is present during the visit

  • The technician can safely access the property

  • The work area is clear and accessible

  • Pets are secured where necessary

  • Electricity, water, or other utilities are available when required

  • Building permissions have been obtained

  • Parking or entry instructions are communicated in advance

The customer is responsible for obtaining approval from landlords, building management, property owners, or other relevant parties before work begins.

9. Safety

HomeFix technicians may refuse, stop, or postpone work where they reasonably believe that:

  • The area is unsafe

  • Electrical systems are hazardous

  • There is a gas, fire, structural, chemical, or water risk

  • The requested work may breach applicable requirements

  • The technician lacks safe access

  • The customer requests an unsafe or improper repair

  • Specialist intervention is required

HomeFix is not required to perform work that could endanger a person, property, equipment, or the technician.

10. Parts and Materials

Replacement parts and materials may be:

  • Original manufacturer parts

  • Compatible replacement parts

  • Customer-supplied parts

  • Locally available alternatives

The type of part should be agreed upon before installation where reasonably possible.

HomeFix is not responsible for defects, incompatibility, missing components, or warranty limitations relating to parts supplied directly by the customer.

Removed or replaced parts may be disposed of unless the customer asks to retain them before the technician leaves.

11. Customer-Supplied Products

Where HomeFix installs a product supplied by the customer, the customer is responsible for ensuring that it is:

  • Complete

  • Suitable for the intended location

  • Compatible with existing systems

  • Free from visible damage

  • Supplied with necessary brackets, fittings, cables, and instructions

Additional work or materials required because of missing, unsuitable, or incompatible components may be charged separately.

HomeFix is not responsible for manufacturing defects or product-performance issues unrelated to the installation work.

12. Service Completion

A service is considered completed when:

  • The approved work has been performed

  • The repaired or installed item has been tested where applicable

  • The customer or authorised representative accepts the work

  • The technician records completion

  • The customer begins using the repaired or installed item

You should inspect the work and report any visible concern before the technician leaves whenever reasonably possible.

13. Service Warranty

Any service warranty will apply only where it is expressly stated on the quotation, invoice, service report, or written confirmation.

The warranty period may vary depending on:

  • The type of service

  • The repair performed

  • The installed part

  • Manufacturer warranty

  • Usage conditions

  • The age and condition of the item

A service warranty normally covers only the specific approved work performed by HomeFix.

It does not cover:

  • Unrelated faults

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Customer misuse

  • Accidental damage

  • Water, power, voltage, or environmental issues

  • Third-party interference

  • Customer-supplied parts

  • Failure to follow technician recommendations

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Repairs altered after service completion

Warranty claims must be reported promptly with the booking or invoice details.

14. Repeat Visits

A repeat visit may be chargeable where:

  • The reported issue is unrelated to the original repair

  • The fault results from misuse or new damage

  • A third party changed or interfered with the work

  • The customer did not follow the technician’s instructions

  • Additional parts or labour are required

  • The issue could not be reproduced during the initial visit

  • The service warranty does not apply

HomeFix will explain applicable charges before performing additional work.

15. Appliances and Existing Systems

Repairs involving older appliances, concealed pipes, electrical wiring, air-conditioning systems, or previously modified installations may reveal additional problems during inspection or repair.

HomeFix does not guarantee that:

  • Every item can be repaired

  • Spare parts will be available

  • An old system will perform like a new one

  • Repairing one fault will prevent another unrelated fault

  • Concealed damage can be identified before work begins

Where repair is not commercially or technically practical, replacement may be recommended.

16. Limitations of Liability

HomeFix will exercise reasonable care and skill in delivering the approved service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HomeFix will not be responsible for:

  • Pre-existing defects

  • Concealed damage

  • Inaccurate information supplied by the customer

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Customer-supplied products or parts

  • Loss caused by continued use after a fault is identified

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Business interruption

  • Loss of profit

  • Loss of stored food, data, or business records

  • Damage caused by third-party repairs or alterations

  • Delays outside HomeFix’s reasonable control

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Jordanian law or limits mandatory consumer rights. Jordan’s Consumer Protection Law establishes obligations relating to supplied goods and services, so any limitation must remain subject to those mandatory protections.

17. Commercial Customers

Business and commercial customers may be subject to:

  • Separate quotations

  • Service-level arrangements

  • Credit terms

  • Purchase-order requirements

  • Scheduled maintenance plans

  • Site safety procedures

  • Building-access requirements

  • Additional technician or equipment charges

Where a separate signed agreement exists, that agreement will take priority in the event of inconsistency with these website terms.

18. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website unlawfully

  • Submit false service requests

  • Impersonate another person

  • Attempt unauthorised access

  • Introduce malware or harmful code

  • Copy or misuse website content

  • Interfere with website operation

  • Use HomeFix branding without permission

We may suspend access or reject service requests where misuse, fraud, abuse, or security risks are suspected.

19. Website Information

We aim to keep website information accurate and current. However:

  • Service descriptions may be general

  • Images may be illustrative

  • Availability may change

  • Prices may be updated

  • Typographical errors may occur

  • Some services may not be available in every area

Website content does not replace a technician’s inspection or a confirmed quotation.

24. Complaints

Complaints should be submitted with:

  • Customer name

  • Booking reference

  • Service address

  • Date of service

  • Description of the issue

HomeFix will review the complaint and may arrange an inspection before proposing a resolution.

25. Force Majeure

  • Severe weather

  • Road closures

  • Government restrictions

  • Utility interruptions

  • Labour disruption
